The Elise Joseph Foundation, Inc. (EJF) is a charitable, tax exempt, nonprofit organization under the 501C(3) IRS code. EJF serves the Haitian and Haitian-American communities through education, cross-cultural promotion, health promotion, and humanitarian relief. The Elise Joseph Foundation’s services includes “The Cultural Relations” radio program that addresses cross-cultural and other issues of concern to the Haitian community; such as, immigration, health and nutrition, parent-child relations, available resources, as well as community news and events. EJF promotes health and wellness through its annual Haitian and Haitian-American health fair in October by facilitating service providers and other service organizations to address health disparities in this underserved, minority community. We also collaborate with organizations in the United States to bring services to Haitians in Haiti, Dominican Republic and Bahamas through our humanitarian relief services.
