I'm Mel Bates, Virtual Assistant and Director of Elite Virtual Assistant Limited. I provide top-class support to busy entrepreneurs, professionals, SMEs and larger organisations. I'm based in Solihull, West Midlands, but the joy of being a Virtual Assistant means I can support you from anywhere! As an experienced Executive Assistant with 20 years of expertise in EA and PA roles, including 17 years specifically in the legal sector and more recently in manufacturing and Fintech, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table! I've worked for various national and international law firms in roles such as Legal PA, PA Team Leader and EA to CEO & Chairman, and that extensive experience helped me develop a diverse skill set and deep understanding of the unique demands and challenges faced by business owners, exposure to a vast client base, the adaptability to work in different environments and the handling of confidential/sensitive information with the utmost discretion. In my more recent roles, I also gained valuable experience in HR and operations which further enhances my already diverse skill set and makes me a versatile and unique option as a Virtual Assistant. I'm a wearer of many hats - it's my specialism!
