Based in Como, Italy, Scatola del Tempo is the brainchild of the innovative Sandro Colarieti, watch enthusiast. In 1990, he invented the 1RT, the pioneering watch winder, which swiftly became essential for timepiece enthusiasts. The Maison has pivoted towards bespoke offerings, producing multiple-winder cabinets and safes highly coveted by collectors worldwide. Furthermore, we hold SwissKubik, which is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The company's foundation is marked by the ingenious blending of composite materials with Swiss micro-mechanical precision in watch winder kinematics. Our watch winders are entirely handmade in Switzerland, in our manufacture of Givisiez (Canton of Fribourg). Their precision and reliability are recognized and endorsed by the most prestigious Swiss watchmakers. SwissKubik watch winders are now acclaimed as the market's most efficient, silent, and robust, infused with a modern flair through the clever integration of electronics and Bluetooth interfaces. In 2023, we proudly acquired Atelier Zorn in Mulhouse, France. This family-owned business, imbued with exceptional craftsmanship, is renowned for designing and producing premium cabinetry for the aerospace and luxury sectors.
