ELIXIR Finland is a major national life science research infrastructure in Finland and part of Academy of Finland’s Research Infrastructures Roadmap. In collaboration with international partners, ELIXIR Finland develops European life science infrastructure services. ELIXIR Finland is hosted by CSC – IT Center for Science Ltd.
ELIXIR is an European intergovernmental organisation that brings together life science resources from across Europe. These resources include databases, software tools, training materials, cloud storage and supercomputers. The key goal of ELIXIR is to coordinate these resources so that they form a single European infrastructure that makes it easier for scientists to find and share data, exchange expertise, and agree on best practices.
