elKaribu was born in the middle of a pandemic with the intention of meeting the needs of the implementation of Industry 4.0. Its objectives are based on finding the technological solutions and means required to implement virtualization, interconnection and automation, transparency and analysis of information, instantaneousness, sustainability and digitization of assets. The application of industry 4.0 is capable of generating a regular flow of information, much higher than what could be available if more traditional logistics strategies and production methods were used. Furthermore, this information can be exchanged quickly both internally and externally. This provides interesting possibilities in relation to external logistics assets and at the production site itself because this allows the possibility to analyze and adapt more easily to constant changing situations.
