Ella Gillustrations is a slow fashion brand, based in Leeds, that started in November 2022. The surreal characters featured throughout take inspiration from creatures that are commonly associated with witches and the symbolism behind them. Screen printing, bright colours and whimsical prints, with a sustainable mindset would sum up the brand.
The brand uses a zero waste method, meaning there are no scrap fabric/ trims that will be binned. Any fabric scraps during the cutting process are upcycled into something new (like the new reusable makeup pads, made from print samples or our zero waste scrunchies).
All fabric & trims used are either deadstock, donated by friends & family or sourced locally.
Where possible, our packaging is recyclable materials & sustainable. For example, the tape we use to wrap up online orders is eco-friendly and biodegradable. Also, the pretty pink tissue paper we use was kindly donated by a local small business.
