Elma Vision

Elma Vision is a Swiss medical technology company specializing in low vision solutions, with a focus on Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and related conditions such as Stargardt disease and myopic maculopathy. AMD is a degenerative retinal disease that can cause severe central vision loss, and in nearly 10% of cases, lead to extreme visual impairment. It affects one in four people over the age of 60 over 200 million people worldwide. Faced with the lack of effective solutions for advanced stages, one question led to our creation: “What if we could help these people see again?” From this ambition, Elma Vision was born. We have developed a cutting-edge optoelectronic technology designed specifically for patients with advanced macular degeneration.
