All varieties are created through a unique HydroRelease™ method, using water to harness the nutritional content of raw grains, nuts, or seeds. The result - naturally creamy products with up to 4x more nuts compared to leading brands, without the use of added gums, oils or emulsifiers.
Elmhurst’s Plant Milks, Barista Editions, Creamers, and new Sour Cream & Lattes begin with whole raw ingredients. All products are Non-GMO, Gluten Free, Vegan, Dairy Free and OU Kosher.
Elmhurst’s unique process and aseptic packaging also allows for safe consumption over a longer shelf life, with no need to refrigerate prior to opening. And because sustainability is the only way forward the package is fully recyclable.
Our History
Elmhurst was founded in 2017, but the company's roots date back to 1925. Originally Elmhurst Dairy in Queens, the multi-generational dairy was the largest in New York State for nearly a century.
After a meeting with plant nutrition pioneer Dr. Cheryl Mitchell, Henry made a progressive pivot - closing the family dairy to focus on clean label plant-based alternatives with more nutrition as Elmhurst 1925.
