ELMOT JSC was established in 1967 with production facilities based in the town of Veliko Tarnovo, a former capital of Bulgaria. Shortly afterwards its annual production amounted to 140,000 asynchronous electric motors with conical rotor and integrated brake. Since its very foundation the company has been performing various activities related to the development and production of new products, marketing, warranty and post-warranty technical maintenance of motors, hoists, geared motors, cranes and other components manufactured in the company. The plant has been operating for more than 50 years for customers all over the world and since its very beginning has been a symbol of high quality and reliability. ELMOT JSC has won recognition as one of the biggest manufacturers in the field of heavy engineering.
