Elmwood is an 80-acre, historic cemetery, located in the heart of Memphis. Founded in 1852 as part of the rural cemetery movement, Elmwood is considered one of the premier Victorian garden cemeteries in the south. More than 80,000 Memphians rest here. Grave spaces are still available for sell in many areas within the cemetery.
