About Elonkierto

Elonkierto is an agricultural and natural resources research exhibition park and petting zoo that reflects the history and present of food production. Visiting Elonkierto is free of charge. Step on the paths to learn about sustainable food production and the relationship between human, animal and environmental well-being. Along the 1-2 kilometer-long demonstration trails, you will meet Finnish indigenous domestic animals and find crops that have adapted to our climate and conditions.
