Elora Therapeutics is developing the first enzyme therapeutic to degrade and safely remove microplastics from the human body. Using engineered enzymes, we target synthetic polymers that accumulate in blood and tissues, compounds our human biology cannot naturally eliminate. These microplastics are linked to chronic inflammation, metabolic disease, and hormone disruption — we aim to help improve these indications by targeting a source of the symptoms. Our mission is to restore internal balance in an increasingly synthetic world. Backed by sound science and academic partnerships, we’re laying the groundwork for a new category of biologic therapeutics focused on systemic resilience and long-term health.
