ELPH Studio Archietcts is a Bristol-based architectural practice, which was formed in 2017 by Eliana Stenning and Phoebe Stock.
Specialising in sustainable, low environmentally impacting architectural design, ELPH create new builds, house extensions and refurbishments in and around Bristol, and provide drawings for planning permission, building regulations and construction. Our team have ample practical experience, having designed and constructed many pavilions for festivals and places for contemplation.
Phoebe and Eliana hold a wide variety of professional experiences gained in London and Melbourne, Australia; covering the masterplanning of mega-cities in the middle east; to designing furniture and interiors of luxury boutique hotels and restaurants in London and Milan.
Having gathered many experiences, both decided to take a side step in a more sustainable direction, which led them on a journey to The Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales to undertake their Part II in Architecture.
Phoebe and Eliana share the belief that designers of the built environment have an environmental responsibility to safeguard the health of our planet for future generations. This is integral to the practice's ethos. The practice produces healthy & durable architecture, which is mindful of the local & environmental responsibility and strives to minimise environmental impacts through sourcing natural and innovative materials and thoughtful design.
The team participate in collaborative design processes with clients, other stakeholders and professionals, resulting with an informed, holistic and hands on approach to their designs.
