As a dedicated Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in community outreach and advocacy, I have a deep-seated passion for empowering individuals and families to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. My career has been driven by a commitment to social justice and a belief in the strength of human resilience. My expertise lies in developing and implementing comprehensive assessments and behavioural support plans tailored to the unique needs of diverse populations, including at-risk adults, disability and survivors of domestic violence. I utilize a strengths-based approach, focusing on the inherent capabilities of each client to foster sustainable change. In my past & current roles, I've successfully advocated for policy changes that have improved access to mental health services in underserved communities, leading to a measurable decrease in crisis incidents. I am deeply involved in every aspect of case management, from initial assessment to the coordination of care and long-term follow-up. I am committed to lifelong learning and regularly participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest in social work practice.
