In 2002, Elma bv has established a sister company named Elro SRL. This step was to respond to two major developments in the market:
The customers of Elma require more and more a low cost assembly facility;
It is getting harder and harder to find skillful technical employees in the Netherlands.
Over 30 experienced employees
Elro is founded in Constanta, the sister city of Rotterdam and the gateway to Eastern Europe. Constanta is located near the Black Sea where many ports and shipyards are situated, traditionally a well-known working area for Elma. Over the years the company has developed itself into an organization employing over 30 technicians and is also ISO9001 certified. The activities of Elro are divided over two business units:
Elro Projects and
Elro Trade
