ELSA Brussels

ELSA is the world's largest independent law students' association. It comprises a membership of 50.000 students and recent graduates with the purpose to contribute to legal education, to foster mutual understanding and to promote social responsibility of law students and young lawyers. ELSA operates primarily through its local groups, which are located at nearly 350 universities throughout 43 countries in Europe. ELSA Brussels is a Belgian local group (Université libre de Bruxelles). Our mission is the implementation of the objectives and values of ELSA international at a local level but also on an international level. We organize conferences, a moot court competition as well as travels around Europe to meet other local groups and discover their cultures. Also, we welcome the Erasmus students. Finally, a part of our missions is to find internships for our members. Therefore, in collaboration with the two others associations of the Law faculty (« Le Cercle » and « le Bureau étudiant (BE)) we organise the « Jobdays ». The purpose of this day is to introduce students to professionals (more specifically Law firms).
