Ethiopian Logistics and Supply Chain Management Professionals Association’s (ELSA)

Positioned in the horn of Africa, Ethiopia is currently one of the fastest growing economies in Africa. Despite its economic dynamism mainly among which comes to the fore being a land locked/linked country. This situation calls for innovative and sophisticated logistics and supply chain management system. Even in the presence of apparent need, development national logistics strategy appears to be at its infancy level, leaving actors in the sector in disarray. Professional associations in the area, in parallel, seem to be fragmented and less coordinated. In view of this, the Ethiopian Logistics and Supply Chain Management Professionals Association’s (ELSA) was established in 2017 to play its part to integrate various key stakeholders in the logistics and supply chain sector.
