ELSA-Bayreuth e.V. (Fakultätsgruppe Bayreuth der Europäischen Jurastudierendenvereinigung e.V.) ist ein als gemeinnützig anerkannter Verein. Wir sind die lokale Vertretung der nationalen Verbandsorganisation ELSA-Deutschland e.V. welche Mitglied des internationalen Dachverbands ELSA (The European Law Students' Association) ist.
Wir wurden 1989 von Jurastudierenden an der Universität Bayreuth gegründet und haben heute über 300 Mitglieder.
Als Vorreiter für die universitäre Ausbildung bietet ELSA studienbegleitend sowohl akademische als auch stark praxisbezogene Aktivitäten inklusive Auslandserfahrung, internationaler Kommunikation, Organisation von Projekten und Soft Skills an.
