ELSA Kent

We are the local chapter of ELSA, the world's largest law student association, spanning 44 countries and consisting of more than 50,000 members dotted across the globe. Through our ELSA membership, you will gain entry to this network of both national and international opportunities that will allow you to study and work in the international legal field. We are Kent's Society for those Interested in International Law. As an example, through the Student Traineeship Exchange Programme (STEP), members can obtain internships or traineeships at all types of legal offices and firms. Moreover, ELSA Delegations offer you the opportunity to study the real work of the international organisations including the Council of Europe, the International Criminal Court, the European Court of Human Rights and the World Trade Organisation. Through ELSA you are offered the unique chance to grow your academic strengths and receive international recognition for them, as the association runs its own peer-reviewed Law Reviews, International Moot Court Competitions and Legal Research Groups.
