About Elwell-Parker
An American institution since 1893, the Elwell-Parker Electric Company has over 120 years of experience manufacturing lift trucks and specialized equipment. Its legacy of problem-solving through engineering has played a crucial role in material handling since the inception of the industry. Elwell-Parker developed the first-ever powered platform truck in 1906 and pioneered the innovations that led to the first electric forklift. In the century that followed, Elwell-Parker lift trucks, coil handlers, die handlers, and countless specialized and custom-application vehicles could be found around the world. From busy ports, to industrial power centers, to the frontlines, and to the home front -- wherever material needed moved, Elwell-Parker was there, setting the standard that is still followed today. The original Elwell-Parker facility in Cleveland was closed in 2000, but since 2010 the Elwell-Parker brand has continued to thrive as a wholly-owned subsidiary of H&K Equipment of Pittsburgh. Once one of the leading Elwell-Parker dealers in North America, H&K Equipment is proud to now be the OEM for all Elwell-Parker products. We can repair, restore, or upgrade all makes and models of Elwell-Parker equipment and can custom build new machines for specialized applications. For more information about Elwell-Parker vehicles, or for service and parts, please contact an Elwell-Parker / H&K Representative at 1-800-272-9953.
