Embedded Interaction Lab (EIlab)

Embedded Interaction Lab is an applied research lab located at the Department of Design, IIT Guwahati. Our research focuses broadely on user experience design and human computer interaction. Our current research is towards virtual reality, user experience design and input techniques. The lab is founded and led by Dr Keyur Sorathia who is Associate Professor in the Department of Design. In addition to sponsored research and consultancy work, the lab also teaches courses on user experience design and virtual reality. The courses are available for students of IIT Guwahati, and also allowed to pursue through certification program on Coursera and Intellipaat. The lab also conducts 15-days residential program on UX design and HCI twice in a year.
