Embodied

I am a constant student and teacher of the body-mind connection. As a trauma-informed yoga practitioner and brain retraining coach, I use the Polyvagal Theory to guide people toward self-regulation and healing. My passion is to help people discover freedom in their own innate ability to self-heal through the wisdom of the body. I’ve been there and made it out to the other side. Having struggled with severe anxiety, trauma, and multiple chronic pain disorders from an early age, I discovered the transformative power of the body’s wisdom through yoga as a form of embodiment, somatic presence, and nervous system regulation. My personal journey has sculpted my practice and approach to coaching – bringing the power back to our bodies. I understand the complexities of maladaptive chronic issues and recognize the importance of addressing the root cause. Learning from leading trauma specialists such as Stephen Porges, Dr. Arielle Schwartz, Peter Levine, and Bessel Van Der Kolk, I recognize the importance of developing innate safety to transform trauma into growth and resilience. I firmly believe that the discovery of one’s true nature is the ultimate key to healing.
