EMBO Lab Leadership is part of a non-profit enterprise, wholly owned by the European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO), dedicated to the advancement of science through the support and training of life scientists.
EMBO Lab Leadership training is organised by EMBO Solutions GmbH, which runs residential, online courses, and 'on location' courses for life scientists each year, including the flagship EMBO Laboratory Leadership course, as well as courses on scientific skills such as Research Integrity, Scientific Writing, and Design Principles for Scientists.
One key advantage of EMBO Lab Leadership's residential 3- and 4-day leadership courses is that they bring together scientists in an isolated setting to focus on leadership and management away from the distractions of the lab. The time is spent sharing knowledge and ideas with other research leaders who have experienced or are experiencing similar challenges. Insight and experience can be shared in a confidential and supportive setting with the discovery of ideas and solutions facilitated or provided by experienced leadership trainers.
