ABOUT THE CO-FOUNDER
Jim Follett is a growth activist passionate about “lighting up the possible." Jim guides people, organizations, and communities to better outcomes, especially when the path is not apparent. Brings over 40-year for-profit career as a global CEO, Board Director, and Strategic Advisor. In 2020, Jim transitioned into the world of philanthropy, social impact, and non-profit to generate positive change that improves lives.

EMBRACING NEW BEGINNINGS
In 2019 Jim and his wife established Embracing New Beginnings (ENB) to engage and manage the range of social causes to which they were committed. At the core of ENB is a belief that most people aspire to lead a good life and make a positive contribution to society. However, access to opportunity is not equal.
HUMAN POTENTIAL ADVOCATE
Jim's time, treasure, and talent focus on creating positive social impact helping those who face barriers to a living a decent life. Jim works with organizations that address systems change and equity in workforce development, homelessness prevention, race equity, and global forest conservation.

A 501c3 consulting agency provides leadership development skills for diverse leaders of non-profit agencies.

A 501c3 consulting organization focused on closing the opportunity gap.
LEAD SVP PARTNER – OPEN DOORS, CT (2021 – present)
Guides people from homelessness towards housing stability.
ADVISOR – MISSION GREEN (2020
Supports Dr. Margaret Lowman, global scientist and forest conservation advocate on a mission to stop deforestation.
