The chain had approximately 175 outlets at acquisition. On July 24, 2012 Miami subs announced the equity stakes in the chain was purchased by Armando Cristian Perez, known by his stage name, Pitbull. On 29 Dec 2012 a joint venture of 21 million $ was established between Hisham Nasser Al Zarah and Abdulellah Nasser Al zarah sons of Shiekh Nasser Hameed Al Zarah, to open 56 branches in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & GCC for next twenty years.
