Members come from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds and are highly accomplished in their respective fields. At Emerald Nodes we facilitate new connections and provide a protected space for insightful discussion and mutual inspiration. OUR MISSION At Emerald Nodes we believe in the power of trusted networks. We are convinced they can unleash potential and lead to mutual benefits. We are looking to create situations in which discussion sparks and great ideas emerge. Leverage Networks The number of meaningful connections a single person can maintain is naturally limited. But when including the friends of a person, the number of connections increases almost exponentially. At Emerald Nodes we use this concept to leverage the networks of our well-connected members to selectively grow our community and access knowledge we consider relevant. Establish Trust Trust lies at the heart of open exchange. To allow for our members to speak freely and contribute their unfiltered thoughts we create protected spaces. Admission to Emerald Nodes is therefore selective and our events are by invitation only. All members are personally known to at least one of the founders. By basing all communication on trust and confidentiality we focus on content rather than politics. Build Bridges What is unknown for one, might be obvious to another. The fact that our members are distributed across the globe and come from all sorts of professional and academic backgrounds allows us to address this phenomenon.
