One of the original pioneers of waste recycling in Manchester, EMERGE (East Manchester Environment and Resources Group EMERGE) is an environmental charity with more than 20 years' experience of empowering individuals, businesses and communities to embrace the 3Rs ethos of Reduce, Re-use and Recycle. EMERGE 3Rs is the parent organisation, within which sit EMERGE Recycling, reclaimed timber project Touch Wood, and the Greater Manchester operation of national food sustainability charity FareShare. We provide a full range of services in waste collection confidential shredding to businesses and schools, and promote sustainable resource management by offering advice, information and educational services within the wider community.
