About Emerge Massachusetts
Emerge Massachusetts is changing the face of Massachusetts politics by providing the tools and training to Democrats who identify as women to run - and win. Our intensive, cohort-based six-month Signature Training program is unique. We are seeing the real results of our training through the growth of the number of elected Democratic women, and our work is far from over. A pool of highly qualified Democratic candidates is being left untapped. Too often, women do not see themselves running for office—they assume they aren’t experienced enough or they don’t know where to begin. Emerge Massachusetts is changing that! Emerge Massachusetts is part of a national network currently working in 29 states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. * Trained over 300 women across Massachusetts * Over 100 alumnae currently hold elected office across all levels of government
