The MWHC builds on Suffrage100MA’s work telling the inclusive stories of the suffragists and expanding to share inspiring historical and educational information about the important contributions and challenges endured by Massachusetts women and other gender identities subjected to restrictive women’s laws, of all backgrounds over the centuries, and of major milestones in MA women’s history. The MWHC celebrates the broad diversity of activists in the legacy of women’s rights, spanning a wide range of racial, ethnic, and gender identities and socioeconomic status.A goal is to amplify this history and to advance civics education for current and future generations. The virtual MWHC provides a new collection of exhibits, articles and biographies. The upcoming MWHOF will honor Massachusetts women, past and present, who have made a profound impact. The Access to Justice Fellows Program is a program of the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission and the Lawyers Clearinghouse. The program promotes equal justice for all by partnering senior lawyers and retired judges with public service entities, non-profits and the courts. These groups receive pro bono services on projects that increase access to justice for people in Massachusetts or increase a non-profit organization's capacity to accomplish a social justice mission.

With funds from the national mortgage settlement, she formed the HomeCorps program to help every distressed borrower deal with the banks on a one- by-one basis. She’s recovered more than $600 million for homeowners and taxpayers, and has kept more than 30,000 people in their homes.• She was the first and only Attorney General to successfully challenge the Defense of Marriage Act, winning the first-ever ruling from a federal judge declaring DOMA unconstitutional. Her actions played a major role in the US Supreme Court striking down DOMA in June 2013.• She has led the fights to protect children online and from the harmful effects of bullying. She entered into innovative agreements with Facebook and Myspace to protect children’s privacy. And she led a bullying task force to develop additional solutions to protect kids after passage of the anti-bullying statute and proposed additional changes including those to better protect LGBT children.• She has taken on fraud and abuse of taxpayer dollars – including waste in our health care, EBT, and unemployment systems.
