About EMERGE - The RehabTech Impact Accelerator
We will accelerate the adoption of new rehabilitation technologies into health and care pathways to drive regional economic growth, transform health outcomes, and tackle health inequalities. EMERGE RehabTech is a £2.5 million Place-Based Impact Accelerator Account funded by the EPSRC that launched in spring 2025. Over four years, EMERGE RehabTech aims to rapidly increase the rate of deployment of rehabilitation technologies by providing strategic funding and connecting disciplines and sectors across the East Midlands region. EMERGE is led by Nottingham Trent University, working with the University of Derby, Loughborough University, and the University of Nottingham, and supported by a diverse consortium of 30+ partners with extensive regional and industry expertise.
