Emergence Bilingual School

Emergence Bilingual Nursery and Primary School was founded in September 1995 with the aim of providing quality education in a perfectly bilingual school context. As a Cameroonian of English expression, I developed a great interest for the French language during my secondary school years. This interest ushered me to a world of languages in which I also learnt Spanish and German, in the university, in the good old U.S of A. Language, as we all know, is a significant part of culture. Knowing a language enables one to interact comfortably with the people of that culture. At the same time, it opens up more opportunities in our professional lives. As Cameroonians, we are truly privileged to learn two languages and any effort to foster this national option – I believe – should not be spared. With this in mind, coupled with my love for children I was motivated to create a perfectly bilingual school, educating children between the ages of 2-10 years, who graduate with excellent results at the CEP, Common Entrance Examination, or both.
