Founded in 1968, EMI began by offering innovative, high-quality end-of-barrel products for injection molding machines. As the industry grew, so did the need to automate the handling of molded parts—this led to the development of conveyor systems and custom-engineered automation solutions, including central conveying, box filling, part diverting, cooling, and more.
In 2016, we opened a 110,000 sq. ft. (10,000 m²) facility in Jackson Center, Ohio. This state-of-the-art plant enabled us to incorporate next-generation machinery, expand our assembly area, optimize workflow, and significantly increase our storage capacity. We also adopted a powder-coating process that shortens lead times and enhances product finish quality.
EMI Plásticos Internacional S. de R.L. de C.V., a subsidiary of EMI Corp, was established in 2011 to provide technical, commercial, and logistical support to the Mexican market. Based in Querétaro, our facilities include offices and a warehouse stocked with local inventory of End of Arm Tooling (EOAT), injection molding supplies, and conveyors—backed by a dedicated team committed to total customer satisfaction.
