About EMJMDPHID - EMA (Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Public Health in Disasters)

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Public Health in Disasters (EMJMDPHID) is a joint university educational programme organized by the Unit for Research in Emergency and Disaster of the Universidad de Oviedo (Spain), the Centre for Research on Health Care in Disasters of the Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) and the Department of Primary Care and Population Health of the University of Nicosia (Cyprus) designed to deliver high quality education and training in the field of Public Health in disaster situations. The Programme is sponsored by the European Union and also involves associated universities and institutions around the world. The Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) is an association for students and alumni of Erasmus Mundus Master and Doctoral programmes. EMA is based on four pillars: the Management Board, Country Representatives, Programme Representatives and Project Leaders. Together they bring EMA to life. Over the years, EMA has grown into an international organisation with, as of 2020, more than 12,000 members from 170+ countries. All EMA members have studied an M.A., MSc. or PhD and as such benefitted from a mobility program under the Erasmus+ Action. For more details check out the EMA page (https://www.em-a.eu/)
