Dr Sarah Whyte has a doctorate in emotional intelligence, where she focused on creating and testing an emotional intelligence intervention to support change. Her years of doctoral research gave her the specialist skills required to create new knowledge and became an expert in her field. She keeps up to date with research on emotion, psychology and neuroscience (which is no hardship for a massive research geek who finds emotions fascinating). Alongside her research expertise, Dr Sarah seamlessly incorporates more than twenty years of supporting thousands of people with tough emotions, well-being and resilience. Her fascination with the impact of emotions began in her teaching career and led her to become a speaker and facilitator to reach a wider audience. She now works with leaders and teams in high-pressure environments who find themselves constantly under pressure to perform at peak levels. Her audiences are held to high expectations at work and may even be at risk of burnout. Dr Sarah helps people to understand the power of emotion in building psychological safety.
