Our mission is to scientifically study the effects of emotional experiences and processes in close relationships on our daily lives from a lifespan developmental perspective. Under the supervision of Dr. Duygu Taşfiliz, our ongoing projects include a number of quantitative research projects on topics such as responsiveness in romantic relationship experiences and positive interpersonal emotion regulation, as well as the development of standardized measurement tools to examine individual differences in emotional processes. In light of the findings obtained from the research, the creation of intervention methods that increase individual and relational well-being is among the future goals.
