EMPATHS (EMpowering landscapes with Participatory Approaches To Heritage interpretation Skills) is an Erasmus+ co-funded project that promotes participatory heritage interpretation as a tool for connecting people and places. Heritage is more than monuments—it is about stories, identities, and the relationships between communities and their environment. EMPATHS supports professionals and organizations in developing innovative and sustainable approaches to heritage interpretation, fostering inclusion and engagement through participatory methodologies. What We Do: 🔹 Training & Capacity Building – Developing skills and tools for heritage professionals to create meaningful and accessible narratives. 🔹 Research & Innovation – Exploring new ways to interpret and communicate heritage with local communities. 🔹 Collaboration & Networking – Connecting professionals, cultural institutions, and organizations to share best practices and experiences. By integrating participatory interpretation with sustainable heritage management, EMPATHS enhances cultural awareness and social cohesion, ensuring that heritage remains relevant and accessible for future generations.
