EmployAbility is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (formerly known as Coastal Center for Developmental Services) whose mission is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
We believe everyone counts. We envision a community where people with disabilities are more broadly valued, hired by employers, receiving support, and participating in ordinary activities.
Through Supported Employment Services, The Academy (pre-vocational training), and the Community Access program, EmployAbility provides support to 400 people with disabilities and their families throughout Chatham, Effingham, Liberty, and Bryan Counties.
We work to empower individuals to live their best lives whether they want to work in the community or continue to challenge themselves through life-long learning.
