Empoder Latinas Code

Founded in the summer of 2014, Empoder empowers low-income communities through rigorous hands-on engineering and computer science education. We offer summer immersion, in-school, after-school and weekend programs aimed at inspiring and preparing students to pursue careers in engineering and computer science. We currently run programs in Puebla, Mexico and in East Palo Alto, California, with the goal of expanding to additional low-income communities in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout New York City.
