He currently serves as an Area Developer with Salons by JC and owns six SBJC franchises: four in the Nashville, TN, area; one in Huntsville, AL; and one in Sarasota, FL. Raised in a family of successful entrepreneurs, Dave worked for more than 20 years as a marketing executive for Ford and Mazda, where he led the “Zoom-Zoom” and “Ford: Powered by You” rebrands. Looking for a more sustainable lifestyle and greater professional freedom, he made the switch to small-business leadership and franchising in 2011. Choosing the franchise life is a weighty decision, but Dave approaches it with a calm, rational perspective. He both understands the differences between corporate and franchise work and knows how to translate his deep growth and operational experience into a successful path forward for franchisees.
