EKWA, meaning "now is the time" in Cree, is an Indigenous-owned and operated company dedicated to creating empowerment and opportunity within the oil and gas industry. We focus specifically on the service rig sector. Our name reflects our mission to collaborate with Indigenous communities and provide a comprehensive training program that opens doors to meaningful and sustainable employment.
Our Mission and Training Program
We offer a 250-hour technical training course designed to equip trainees with the skills and confidence needed for effective service rig operations. Our program emphasizes time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Crafted with a focus on real-world application, our course ensures a seamless transition to live worksites, meeting the rigorous demands of the oil and gas sector. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive training environment on a fully functioning service rig site.
