EmpowerEd is a Pittsburgh-based non-profit organization dedicated to creating equitable educational opportunities for underserved students. Founded by Denzel Gregg, a current law student at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Duquesne University, EmpowerEd seeks to empower students by offering programs that go beyond traditional academics, providing them with the leadership, mentorship, and life skills they need to succeed in higher education and their future careers. Our flagship program, "Beyond the Books," equips students with the tools to thrive both in and out of the classroom, starting with 9th-grade students at Urban Pathways Charter School. At EmpowerEd, we are committed to removing barriers to education and fostering an environment of support that enables students to achieve their full potential. By partnering with local schools, community organizations, and professionals, we aim to create a lasting impact on the lives of students, ensuring they are prepared to navigate their academic and personal journeys with confidence.
