Empowering Children Programme C.I.C

We are a non-profit organisation who promote the empowerment of children and young people. Allowing the development of their personal and social identities through extra-curricular experiences and mentoring in our club setting. Child-led activities are offered in a safe, welcoming environment managed by qualified Playworkers. We promote the participation of volunteers in the provision of activities. Our framework incorporates the Children and Young People’s Participation Standards for Wales and PSE (Personal and Social Education Framework) for schools in Wales. Our volunteers are individuals from the public or referred by VCS organisations. We implement; *inclusive methodology related to intersecting social identities. *training for staff and volunteers, both in-house and certified. *DBS checks for staff working within our organisation. *Cooperation or collaboration with other community groups and other stakeholders. We are members of Wales' Third Sector Council C3SC and Clybiau Plant Cymru.
