Empower, LLC

Launched in 2013, the mission of Empower, LLC is to improve corporate transparency and accountability by eliminating the strategic information gap between businesses and civil society stakeholders. To accomplish this, we conduct strategic research, provide business intelligence, and build civil society capacities to engage businesses in order to improve private sector compliance with human rights, environmental, and social responsibility standards. We work only with civil society organizations that align with our social responsibility guidelines, including unions, worker groups, human rights organizations, academics, foundations, and community-based movements, as well as others dedicated to the goals of economic and political justice, social equity, and citizen empowerment.
