Empower Zamia is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit designed to aid in the alleviation of poverty in Africa through the context of business development, business training, and micro loans. Along with our training, we act as a financial resource to those unable to access capitol through traditional avenues. Our goal is the promotion of the economy of this nation at a grassroots level. Empower Zambia is governed by a board of directors consisting of both Americans and Zambians.
Unlike typical business training programs, Empower Zambia trains local entrepreneurs within the context of their own culture and environment through mobile centers set up in their village. We not only want to support our entrepreneurs in becoming sustainable, we also want to deal with complexes promoting the cyle of poverty.
