Why Empress Editions? It’s simple. Traditional publishing often sidelines midlife voices and stories, and even when they’re featured, the financial model is overwhelmingly stacked against authors. Most publishers claim 85-90% of a book’s revenue, leaving authors with just a small fraction. At Empress Editions, we’re flipping that script. We believe authors deserve the bulk of the earnings for their creativity and hard work. Our mission is clear: to champion diverse, authentic, and unapologetically bold midlife voices while ensuring authors are generously rewarded.
