EMRIE is an Interreg Europe project (2025–2029) helping European mining regions align their policies with the EU Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA) and accelerate the shift to a circular, resource-efficient economy. The project brings together 11 partners from 9 countries to improve six regional policy instruments, focusing on sustainable mining, land use, and innovation. 🛠 What we do: ✔️Support the integration of CRMA targets in regional policy ✔️Promote circular approaches to mining and raw materials ✔️Strengthen regional innovation ecosystems ✔️Share Good Practices across borders ✔️Involve stakeholders in designing better, greener governance Through structured peer learning, stakeholder engagement, and policy reform, EMRIE enables regions to reduce import dependency, valorise mining waste, and create conditions for SME growth and innovation. 📍 Funded by Interreg Europe 📆 Duration: 2025–2029 💶 Budget: €1,892,301.00
