We manufacture and sell Grilon, Nexylon and Nexylene fibers, Griltex hotmelt adhesives, Grilbond adhesion promoters, Primid crosslinkers for powder-coatings and Grilonit reactive dilutents. We are worldwide market leader for fibers in the paper-machine clothing industry. The unique spinning process developed by EMS-GRILTECH enables us to manufacture new GRILON® fibers with which our customers can manufacture new products. Great potential still remains for innovative development work using our flat fibers, fusible adhesive fibers, coarse and bi-component fibers. A new flame-protected polyamide fiber for protective clothing will be introduced onto the market. Through our customer-oriented product development we are market leader with Griltex copolyamides and copolyesters in the field of technical bonding. Among the most important fields of use are automotive production, filtration, colour printing, sport, packaging and medicine. Our latest developments for the composite industry and light-weight construction demonstrate our innovative strength. Griltex remains the best provider of optimal properties and resistance for classical textile applications. In the field of adhesion promoters, developments in the market provide great opportunities for growth. Our economical and reliable solutions have not yet been taken up by all tire manufacturers and newly developed products from EMS-GRILTECH will shortly be introduced onto the market. With the Primid product family, EMS-GRILTECH has gained a significant share of the world markets for powder-coatings. The toxicological advantages compared to other crosslinking systems promise further growth in the coming years.
