EnACT Your Future, Inc.

EnACT Your Future is a small team of educators and entrepreneurs with a huge mission: create unconventionally fun, life-changing learning through classes students actually love. Since 2014, EnACT’s team has served over 3,500 students in the Greater Detroit Area and created college access through ACT, SAT, and college scholarship and admissions essay writing classes. EnACT has partnered with schools to provide professional development workshops, student test data analysis, and comprehensive SAT prep textbooks written by teachers, for teachers. EnACT Your Future has made an enormous impact on students: student and partner survey data show 94% of students and 100% of partners recommend EnACT’s classes. EnACT’s experienced instructors have led programs for a total of 19 public, private, and charter schools and community organizations in the Greater Detroit Area, including Central Michigan University Upward Bound, Cesar Chavez Academy High School, Detroit Edison Public School Academy, Detroit College Access Network, DCP at Northwestern High School, Harper Woods High School, Hazel Park High School, Henry Ford High School, Loyola High School, Mumford High School, Men Who Dare, the Rhonda Walker Foundation, Sterling Heights High School, Warren Mott High School, Wayne State Talent Search, Wayne State Upward Bound, Western International High School, and the YMCA. EnACT’s instructors are unique in that they build authentic, lasting connections with students and make SAT prep - typically a lifeless subject - unbelievably valuable and fun. Students have frequently shared the sentiment: “This class is the reason I come to school.” In a given class, EnACT’s students have achieved an average of 2.5 points of growth on the ACT and an average of 83 points of growth on the SAT. For many students, their growth has been the deciding factor for college admissions and many full-ride scholarships to places like Harvard, Princeton, Dartmouth, and the University of Michigan.
