Currently there are over 72,000 students in more than 1,700 universities across 36 countries as a part of the global Enactus network. Each team develops and operates a series of projects that aim to empower community members increasing their quality of life a standard of living. On a global scale nearly 2 million people are positively impacted by Enactus projects. This happens with the help and support from over 550 business partners worldwide.
The Enactus team at Edith Cowan University currently operates two projects; Net University empowers senior citizens with the skills to use ICT to enrich their lives and Waste Not focus on food waste minimisation and assist food service providers to increase their profits and reduce carbon footprint through food waste management.
Enactus ECU has won two Enactus Australia Finalist Runner Up Awards and one Enactus Australia National Championship Award in past three years.
