Responsible for the executive actions for the chapter

Responsible for organising events to promote, sustain and develop the EWB ECU.One of our recent project is to organize a plant tour to give students the opportunity to learn the applications of the theoretical knowledge. This is also a good chance for them to expand their professional network.

The objective of the project was to create a profile about a certain property of the contact lenses. To achieve this, I had to learn about the product of Gelflex perth by conducting research about contact lenses and their specific products. I also carried out experiments using laboratory equipments (analytical balance, ovens and other measuring devices) to create a profile for the property of the lenses. I have analysed the data's gathered from the experiments, and from the knowledge that I've learned from previous researches, I have submitted reports to my supervisor.

• Demonstrated accuracy and precision in operating lab equipment (pH & Brix meter) to measure acid and sugar content of the product• Applied knowledge in ISO standards in keeping the quality of the products (ISO 20938 – determination of moisture content and ISO 8460 - determination of free-flow and compacted bulk densities)• Analysed data to predict future disturbance in the production.
